Pre-school aims to educate in all curriculum areas through MUSIC, DRAMA & ART.
LANGUAGE:
Songs and Rhymes to develop oral fluency.
LITERATURE:
Songs to extend reading skills, memory, inflection and syllabification.
INVESTIGATION:
Using songs and music relating to environmental themes and science. Using the children's intense curiosity about the world to develop songs based on their interests.
NUMERACY CONCEPTS:
Counting songs, development of geometrical concepts using musical games and movement.
Appreciation of different cultural heritages by listening to and singing ethnic music.
Using movement rhythmic response and roleplay to enable children to interpret, understand and appreciate their environment.
Songs sung to match children's artwork relating moods and colours in art to music. Hand made percussion.MOZARTS AIMS TO NURTURE AND DEVELOP MUSICAL TALENT IN THE YOUNG
